HIGHLY RECOMMEND!  Tony with Sharp-Tec for all your minor and major electrical needs!  I made multiple calls and inquiries to my network and via the Internet in search of a master electrician to replace my old Federal Pacific Stub-Lok electrical panel, add a Surge protector, disconnect and grounding wires.  Tony even added a stud plank at no extra charge in the wall to fully secure my panel.  After receiving eight quotes, I chose Tony for the following reasons.  He was very responsive, patiently answered all my questions, provided a formal detailed quote and invoice upon request, provided a free estimate and used top notch equipment with a five year warranty for a very competitive price.  He was also timely, professional, thorough, friendly and trustworthy. Tony is licensed, insured and bonded with decades of industry experience.  Moreover, he labeled my breakers and fixed some outstanding minor electrical issues involving a wall plug for my new fridge and how it interacted with the GFCI plugs in the kitchen. He's awesome!  I'm grateful to have found him on Thumbtack!  He's my new electrician for all my future electrical projects! Our meter box was falling off of the wall so I called around looking for someone to give me a quote. I struggled to find anyone who could give me an idea of what this would cost. You can't afford to deal with surprise costs when money is tight, and it seems like everyone has various fees tacked on. I found Sharp Tec on Nextdoor and decided to reach out. I prefer texting and was really happy that Tony was available to text and to provide an estimate. Having that ballpark estimate immediately and the quick communication made it an easy choice. I assumed it was a mounting issue and a quick fix but Mannie and Pedro came out and quickly figured out my wonky foundation was pulling it down. They needed to get supplies and I didn't think I'd be able to afford the new price of repair so we planned on scheduling for a future visit. However, soon after they left I realized I could afford it and went ahead with scheduling the repair. They managed to come right back out that same evening to complete it. It ended up needing a slip riser installed which will prevent this issue from happening again. He also tidied up the mess of cables left behind from various things by the previous homeowner. What's most important to me when choosing services like this is personability and trustworthiness. If I get that salesman-type vibe I choose someone else regardless of price. I never felt like they were trying to upsell. They were nothing but kind and honest. I am a DIYer but don't mess with electricity so I asked if I could watch because I was curious and Mannie went above and beyond answering my questions by explaining things to me like a teacher would. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!  They replaced my old Federal Pacific Stab-Lok electrical Panel.  These guys are AWESOME.  They are licensed, bonded, and insured.  I received 6 quotes from various companies in the area and they were BY FAR the best quote.   They were on time, professional, and a dream to work with.  They are definitely my new electricians.  They do excellent work for a reasonable price.
